Art Club created Christmas mood The Art Club, under the direc- tion of Mrs. Harriet Bigham, helped to make the school look a little more festive during the holiday season by decorating the doors of various rooms through- out the building with Christmas pictures and sayings. Other ac- tivities included making statues of their favorite teachers and de- signing billboards for Crime Pre- vention Week. Another club formed this year was the Chess Club, sponsored by Mr. Howard Young. This club was formed for students who like to get together and play chess. The activities included having a tournament for the members of the club. 1.
