BOYS’ CLUB The Boys' Club, Mr. Stone sponsor, has 36 members. CHORAL GROUP The Choral Group, with Mrs. Sigworth Director, consists of 35 members. The group sings for local programs and travel to the Choral Festival in the spring. HOOSIER CLUB The Hoosier Club's activities have to do with the different phases of progress in Indiana. The Club has 56 members and is under the guidance of Mr. Gossett. YELL LEADERS Shirley Hollingsworth, Jon Goodman, and Carol DeLong. They have done a good job of keeping the spirit of the school and team. The Junior High Yell Leaders this year are Louise Clock and Teddy Green. They have done a fine job supporting the team. BOOSTER CLUB J fiP rv The Booster Club, under the direction of Mrs. Crowder, and the yell leaders have kept the never-say-die spirit of Summitville alive this past season. FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA The F. F. A. is under the leadership of Mr. Hanna. The officers are: Troy Shaffer. President; Wayne Jackson, Vice-President; Morris Brown, Secretary; Charlie Head, Reporter; Jim Beckley, Treasurer; and Howard Retherford, Sentinel. SHOP CLASS AT WORK Shown above is the Shop Class at work. They make many useful articles as well as things for the School. Mr. Hanna is the Shop Teacher. OFFICE BOOKKEEPER COOKS Grace not only does a swell job keeping the records and books, but adds charm to the office as well. We are very proud of our cooks. They are: Mrs. Beulah Armstrong, Mrs. Doris Frazier, and Mrs. Margaret Lcachman. BUS DRIVERS JANITOR FIRST ROW: Mrs. Joyner, Mrs. Daisy Kirkpatrick, Mr. Warner. SECOND ROW; Mr. Watts, Mr. Thurston. Mr. Ward has done his usually fine job keeping the school in first-class condition again this year. JUNIOR PLAY CLASS OF 1956 SPOOKS ALIVE SENIOR PLAY CLASS OF 1956 SHY GUY I CHEMISTRY CLASS The chemistry class this year is the largest for quite a number of years. Mr. Hanna is a very able teacher and does a fine job with his group. SHORTHAND CLASS The shorthand class this year has a fine group of girls who all get very high grades. There are io girls under the tutorship of Miss Slain. ART CLASS Here are a few members of Mrs. Sigworth's High School Art Class. They are: Richard Pyle, Sam Willis, Judy Dersch, Betty Smith, and Janice Ralston.
