Martha Porteus The dedication of the yearhoolc is the highest honor the senior class can hestow upon a memher of the faculty. This is our way of showing gratitude to the faculty members we laelieve have been closest to our class. This year a douhie dedication is in order. We couid not do justice without giving hoth of them the credit that is due. Our associations with these two teachers are hy no means parallel: they represent to us two different aspects of Summit. The first, though not an official adviser to our class, has been more than just a teacher. She has cheered us when we were gium, and although we are not aiways too cheerful, we've had a lot of fun together, and we have a great respect for her.
