Sophisticated Sophomores Having survived our rough year as Freshmen, we, the Sophomores of 1955-1956, feel that we are now more a part of the Summit County High School. We began the year with eleven Sophomores. But, having lost Charles Melvin and Prank Comstock, we are left with only nine members. Our money-making project was selling candy during the noon hour. Class officers for the year were elected as follows: President -------------------------------- Karen Armstrong Vice-President --------------------------- M argaret Enyeart Secretary --------------------------------- Lo is Huntington Treasurer ----------------------------------- M ike Madron Student Council Representative ---------------- Mike Madron We were fortunate to have as our class sponsor this year our principal, Mr. DuBridge We're proud to say that two of the cheerleaders were chosen from our class--Alice Prestrud and Donna Porsberg . The end of this school year having arrived, we are all looking foward to our final two years of high school, and we hone that they may be as memorable and enjoyable as our first two years have Deen. 70
