The Junior Class of 1955-1956 forsees a most successful year as upperclassmen. We were partners with the Seniors in Initiation and the Junior-Senior Play. We are also looking forward to our part in the Prom, Banquet, and raffles in the spring besides regular school activities. Our sponsor is Mr. James Lytle. Janet Sheesley moved to Buena Vista. Our class members numbered seven at the end of the first semester. At the last of the first semester, we raffled off a tenderized ham as a money project. Sophisticated Sophomores Having survived our rough year as Freshmen, we, the Sophomores of 1955-1956, feel that we are now more a part of the Summit County High School. We began the year with eleven Sophomores. But, having lost Charles Melvin and Prank Comstock, we are left with only nine members. Our money-making project was selling candy during the noon hour. The end of this school year having arrived, we are all looking foward to our final two years of high school, and we hone that they may be as memorable and enjoyable as our first two years have Deen. 70
