Our officers are as follows: Pre sident ------ -- Vice-Pre sident Secretary ----- Treasurer- - - Joan Williams Alice Prestrud Donna Goss Ida Carr Our cheerleaders were elected by the whole student body. They were sleeveless, and were mostly green except that they had gold tights and white shoes. The Pep Club also had outfits alike this year. We all bought sweaters alike and wore black skirts. They helped to improve the appearance of our Pep Club at games. The Pep Club undertook two money-making projects this year. They sold stickers for cars and had a bake sale. Our sponsor is Mrs. Slovak. The Pep Club is proud of our team and will show their pride by going to games and by helping Our team to win.

Industrial Arts Club TOP ROW: Left to Right: Mike Woods, Harrison Vinson, Bob Nelson, Jim Christensen Frank Enyeart, Leroy Dodge, Robert Graham. BOTTOM ROW: Bob Van Dyke, Bob Rice, Alan Rice, Mr. Finney. This year saw a continuation of the activities of the Industrial Arts Club. The club is an honorary one, open only to members of the school shop and mechanical drawing classes. In order to be eligible, a student must have an 85 average in shop or mechanical drawing' classes and an overall average of 80 in his other subjects. The new members for the year were tapped and sworn in at an assembly during activity period. The president, Bob Rice, read the objectives of the club. They are: l. To become better acquainted with, and to promote a better understanding of or- ganizations of this type. 2. To develop an active interest in the methods and problems of industrial life. 3. To develop self-discipline, initative and a readiness to assist others and to learn to join happily in group undertakings. 4. To develop in each member a feeling of pride in his ability to do useful things.
