Sophomore Class TOP ROW: Left to Right: Donna Goss, Harold Horn, Robert Graham, Janet Wells, Janet Sheesley. BOTTOM ROW: Mr. Slovak, Joan Williams, Sonja Ashlock, Nellie Warren, Ronnie Alexander. The Sophomore Class of 1954-55 began what they avowed would be a successful year with the enrollment of five old members, four new members and with Mr. Emil Slovak as their sponsor. Our money-making project was selling candy. The officers elected at the beginning of the year are as follows: President ------- -- Sonja Ashlock Vice -President ------- Joan Williams Secretary-Treasurer-- Ronnie Alexander Student Council Representative -- -- Donna Goss Sonja was later replaced by Joang and Ronnie was replaced by Nellie Warren. Donna Goss became our most charming candidate for the Senior Carnival. We regret to say that she lost. The Sophomores can commend themselves on their active membership in all clubs and projects. ' During the year we lost three members of the class: Sonja Ashlock, David Hollenbeck and Daryl Rimbey. But we were glad to gain two new members: Janet Sheesley and Bob Countway. Let us leave you with our be st wishes for the coming year when we will be the JUNIORS of good old S. C. H. S.
