Is Planning For A Day Buzz! Ring! Ding! - Good Morning sports rockers! This is the Dawn Patrol! - Alarm clockfradios all over the city go off and a thousand sleepy students roll over for another minute of blessed sleep. Dne by one showers come on, toasters start toasting, eggs begin frying, and the ageless cry of Mom, where's my uniform shirt? I can't find it! echoes across the seven hills of Cincinnati. Then, from as far away as Indiana, and as close in as next door, the students of The Summit Country Day School begin to arrive. Buses and cars fight for a space to stop and unload their passengers. Students' cars back and turn in the students' parking lot, searching for a place to park in a rapidly-shrinking lot. Greetings ring out across the pavement and students brave the departing cars as they run towards the school. H I ' J'

. . In The Students' Life The locker room doors are thrown open and the students stream in, creating instant choas. The pile of coats on top of the lockers begins to grow, and bookbags Tl-IUNK to the floor, amid the chorus of hellos greeting each new arrival. The owners of non- opening locks are heard chanting their daily spiel. Books cascade from messy lockers while the owners of neat lockers look on smugly. Homework papers and notebooks flutter above the crowd as bewildered students look frantically for help, and groups soon appear, sitting on the floor, as questions are answered 'T' it 5 and gossip is exchanged. People rush in and out, staring at a book and murmuring out loud, studying for that eary-morning test, drawing puzzled looks 4-at . 5' at from those they bump. Then a bell rings! People look up, stunned, lockers slam shut, and a few latecomers wail Wait, I'm not ready yet . . as another day at Summit Country Day begins. - Mary Landrigan iii!!! .
