Throughout its long history it has served as a standard of excellence in Cincinnati. The five schools, Montessori, Primary, Girls Middle School, Boys Middle School, and the Upper School, offer an education from the earliest years up to college readiness. This book, however, is about a day in the life of The Summit! We're not here to talk about the 94 years of Summit's past historyp we're here to make more Summit history! Is Planning For A Day Buzz! Ring! Ding! - Good Morning sports rockers! This is the Dawn Patrol! - Alarm clockfradios all over the city go off and a thousand sleepy students roll over for another minute of blessed sleep. Dne by one showers come on, toasters start toasting, eggs begin frying, and the ageless cry of Mom, where's my uniform shirt? I can't find it! echoes across the seven hills of Cincinnati. Then, from as far away as Indiana, and as close in as next door, the students of The Summit Country Day School begin to arrive. Buses and cars fight for a space to stop and unload their passengers. Students' cars back and turn in the students' parking lot, searching for a place to park in a rapidly-shrinking lot. Greetings ring out across the pavement and students brave the departing cars as they run towards the school. H I ' J'
