Summit Goes Hawaiian!! Step aside Presidents - here comes the Summit Luau! Student Council made a successful change in the dance calendar by replacing the semi-formal Presidents' Day Dance with a Hawaiian-style Luau. The February chills were melted away with the colorful warmth of Hawaiian print shirts and a bright atmosphere. The music was provided by Rubber Soul, a familiar band at the Summit. In keep- ing with the theme, the students arrived in various beach attire, hats, sunglasses, wild shirts, and of course, grass skirts! Congratulations to the Student Council for their successful alteration in the dance format. - Kelly O'Donnell is aff

f N Dark Side Of The Moon Dark Side of the Moon was the theme of this year's prom put on by the Junior class at the Carousel Inn. With all the right elements, the evening was very successful. The music, performed by the Tritones, was original as well as enter- taining. Music by The Police, The Clash, and The Talking Heads seemed to be the most popular. Tansy Wills was crowned Homecoming Queen, from a court in- cluding Mary Fleming, Jill Verdin, Joan- na Haas, Lauren Heidt, and Monica Bat- tle. Special thanks are extended to Mr. Breyer, Betsy Niklas, Mrs. Shuba, and Paul Haffner who created an enjoyable and memorable prom. Congratulations to the class of 1986 for making the Sen- iors' last Summit Dance unforgettable. - Erin O'Donnell
