Want To Dance, Dad? The 1985 Father Daughter Dinner Dance was, as usual, a rousing success. A return engagment of Cold Spring Harbor added to the night's enjoyment as their tunefull strains enticed everyone onto the dance floor. The dance contest was a draw. The winners were Lauren Heidt and Rosana Carvalho and their fathers. After a two year hiatus, the seniors re- vived the tradition of group song. Thanks to the Sumacs for another enjoy- able dance! - Mary Landrigan Above left - Seniors steal the show! Left - The Heidts and Carvalhos are the winners on the dance floor. Summit Goes Hawaiian!! Step aside Presidents - here comes the Summit Luau! Student Council made a successful change in the dance calendar by replacing the semi-formal Presidents' Day Dance with a Hawaiian-style Luau. The February chills were melted away with the colorful warmth of Hawaiian print shirts and a bright atmosphere. The music was provided by Rubber Soul, a familiar band at the Summit. In keep- ing with the theme, the students arrived in various beach attire, hats, sunglasses, wild shirts, and of course, grass skirts!
