Summit Celebrates ln Theater, Europe The opening of the Flannery Theater in Oc- tober has given the Summit Upper School many reasons to celebrate. Musical produc- tions, fine arts programs, excerpts from an opera, plays, and even a melo-drama have been presented with a professional flair. The air-conditioned theater with its new lighting system permits greater creativity and flexibil- ity in addition to providing improved comfort and illumination. Two trips overseas during spring break were cause for celebration for nineteen Sum- mit students. One group visited France, ltaly, and Switzerland at the same time the second toured West and East Crermany. Four Summit families - the Lambs, O'Donnells, Davises, and Bergers - shared their homes and the Summit Spirit with students from France and Colombia during the summer of 1985.
