Laura And Joanna Haas - A Winning Combination For Summit Basketball Although the 1984-85 Summit Girls Basketball Team experienced some difficulties during its season, the expertise of the Haas sisters cannot be denied. Coach Laura Haas, who teaches physical education and health classes at the Summit, encouraged a relatively young team to grow and develop new skills as well as develop new confi- dence in their abilities. Cvercoming any possible sibling rivalry, Senior Joanna Haas was able to perform admirably to become one of the team's leading scorers. it is not often that a pair of sisters can cooperate this smoothly and still maintain their individuality.
