Above - Steve Tyrrell groans as his ball just misses the cup Right - David Dobbs prepares to send the ball flying down to the green 106 Kendall Leads Team To Sixth Place In State Summit's Golf Team had a highly successful season. Coached by Mr. Kenneth Uckotter, the team finished third in the Class A Sec- tional which qualified them for the Southwest District Match at Weatherwax Country Club in Middletown, Ohio. At the District Tournament the team won the first place trophy to move on to the State Tournament at the Ohio State Golf Course on Oct. 16 and 17, 1984. Lead by Denny Kendall, who was the runner-up medalist with an even-par of 70 on the final day of competition, the team finished in sixth place at the state level. Kendall completed a successful season by being named to the first team AAA by the Southwest Ohio Golf Coaches Association.
