We Get Fired Upl This year's Homecoming Week was a week of highly energized events enjoyed by all the students participating. The week started out with the truly bizarre Clash Day. Plaids stripes, checks and dots were most successfully combined for nauseat- ing effect by Bobby Luce, Wendy Conlan, and Wyndee Parker. Tuesday was Teacher Appre- ciation Day, Wednesdays annual Walk was rained out, but this did nothing to lower the adrenaline caused by the shocking upset at the Student-Faculty volleyball game, which was 2- 1 in the l5aculty's favor. On Thursday the school welcomed student representatives from AFS with friendly curiosity. The fall sports teams wore their jerseys on Blue Day in antici- pation of the pep rally in which the entire school showed Summit Pride. Summits first soap box derby was won by the sophomore boy's Deathmobile . The busy week proved to be one of the most enjoyable periods of the first quarter and al- lowed for a pleasant break from school work. - Betsy Mullins 'Mas 96 w
