From the moment of our creation we are indi- viduals. WVC think, speak, act, and pray not as a homogeneous whole, but as our particular minds and consciences dictate. To be fully used and ex- pressed, this sense of indixiduality must be rec- ognized and nurtured in the young child. ln the pre-school program at Summit a child learns this basic concept of individuality, working at his own rate and playing in his own style. At the same time this child becomes aware of the fundamental re- sponsibilities which he owes to God, to his fellow man, and to himself. At the end of this preliminary instruction, he is prepared to begin formal educa- tion, having gained a knowledge of himself, his capabilities, and his duties. '-X My iii re rzma 1' it , if e sf?
