a time for state girl's and boy's that is. the activity is sponsored by the american legion and auxilary, candidates are chosen accord- ing to grade point average and activity in school organizations, the final choice is made by the teachers, this year's delegates were lorraine hodge and cary wingo. lorraine spent a week at u. c. davis and cary spent his at the sacramento fairgrounds, they were guests at the capit- al and governor reagan was the guest speaker. world affairs world affairs club program, 1970-71. since the club was organized in 1961, its program aimed at educating students in the ways of world affairs, an understanding of world organ- ization has been promoted through the model united nations meeting at berkeley campus of the university of California and the one at Sacramento state college, the annual spaghetti feed held every October helps toward the purchase of care packages for developing nations, on the social side there is a Christmas party and in the spring a trip to the beach at Santa cruz. guest speakers and people who have traveled to places of interest along with films of foreign lands round out the program during the year. below, members are standing from left to right: Steve duncan, cindy anderson, matt lindblom, shari luquire, marlene wyatt, marsha malgesini, juli flores and mr. linderfelt. sitting from left to right: kemper harris, nancy malgesini, jack rushing, dawn beam, pam kerns, and marian hitchings. above, mr. linderfelt helps in preparing for the spaghetti feed.

the Summerville high ski club numbered well over 100 this year and the bus was filled to it's capacity each and every trip, their advisor was dick shreve, president was jim burmester, vice-president was billy schuop, secretary-treasurer was marsha malgesini. the club makes it's weekly trip to dodge ridge on thursdays. a time to ski 93
