the California scholarship federation is composed of students who have an overall average of b+ or better for the last grading period. Permanent members are composed of qualifing students from the senior, junior, and sopho- more classes, freshmen who qualify are considered tem- porary members. the club is under the sponsorship of miss martha bames, who is also our school counselor, inaddition to miss bames, the office of president is held by cathy rohrs, a senior, nick centanni and susan thompson fill the offices of vice- president and secretary-treasuer. the club has traveled to the university of California at berkeley and will hopefully visit other campuses in the future. semester members are: dennis baker, ethel baker, karen la torre, judy leonard, susan thompson, lorraine hodge, bob raymer, marcy walker, yvonne perano, cathy rohes, dawn beam, kristen anderson, carolyn jett, nancy schoettgen, nick centanni, juli flores, jack rushing, and helene regalia. 89 a time for c.s.f.

world affairs world affairs club program, 1970-71. since the club was organized in 1961, its program aimed at educating students in the ways of world affairs, an understanding of world organ- ization has been promoted through the model united nations meeting at berkeley campus of the university of California and the one at Sacramento state college, the annual spaghetti feed held every October helps toward the purchase of care packages for developing nations, on the social side there is a Christmas party and in the spring a trip to the beach at Santa cruz. guest speakers and people who have traveled to places of interest along with films of foreign lands round out the program during the year. below, members are standing from left to right: Steve duncan, cindy anderson, matt lindblom, shari luquire, marlene wyatt, marsha malgesini, juli flores and mr. linderfelt. sitting from left to right: kemper harris, nancy malgesini, jack rushing, dawn beam, pam kerns, and marian hitchings. above, mr. linderfelt helps in preparing for the spaghetti feed.
