No other school, its students and teachers, could have received a foreign student with more warmth and friendliness. I am so proud to count myself as part of Summerville, the school with the best spirit. This wonderful school spirit is one of the most valuable things you kids have. Carry it on— never let it die—just make it grow with the school! 56 It was with apprehension that I recognized my responsibility—and challenge —as your first American Field Service student.
