fl I ll A reat sigh of relief can at last be taken gy your editors. How we ever managed to weather the ordeal will always be a mystery. However, now that it is all over and the last bit of material has been compiled and sent to the publishers. We must admit that, even though we dreaded the job, we enjoyed it immensely and have gained some invaluable experience. Many times it was most discouraging and your editors were about ready to throw up their hands and abandon the ship when one of the staff members would come throu h with some striking idea and looked liie Senior Highlights was going to be pretty good after all. We wish to take this opportunity to thank Bonnie LaVoy, lla Holcomb, Ellen Drake, and Judy Goodridge for all their help typing. Also, those who solicited for the advertisements. We are particularly indebted to Mr. Malcolm P. Gravelle and Mr. Donald McDowell for their patience and understanding when problems too great for us to cope with arose. They were indeed friends-in-need and never left us down. Work on the yearbook has kept us very busy, but it certainly has been worth it. We have tried to make this your yearbook by incorporating the most important things of the year and hope that we have made this ear at Summerfield High a memorable one ' 1 P f through your Senior Highlights.
