Dear Students Your teachers have been and are concerned with inspiring and preparing you to make intelligent choices in a space-age society fraught with dangers both tangible and intangible. This modern period of history which you are helping to make is accelerated as never before. The prevading sense of speed can easily catch you up and hurl you into a situation where you are tempted to make hasty decisions and judgments which will be later regretted. I caution you to keep abreast of the times yet conservative in attitude. Ours is an interdependent worldg the have not peoples yield great power-sticks with their ability to choose, and the haves are not necessarily powerful because of their wealth. It is humanity-such folk as you Seniors-who are American's Potentialg you are our reservoir of strength, of leadership, of mortality. 4- Mr. John A. Cox, Jr. Mr. E. P. Pearce o Mr. John A. This year we are expecting many mem- bers to achieve Junior and Chapter Homemaker De- grees. For the first time we have Home Economics offered to boys. As you can see in one of the pictures they are in action in their first foods lab. Boys, did you say no one burned the toast? Yum! Yum!
