' This organization was made possible by the.Woman ' s College of the Uni¬ versity of North Carolina. Practice teachers, under the supervision of Miss Margaret Green, are sent to instruct us in various sports twice a week. With the beginning of each new season we participate in a dif¬ ferent sport, and we have a different instructor. The three main sports in which we take part are speedball, basketball, and softball. Several times throughout the year, we compete with other schools in these vari¬ ous activities. This association enables many girls who are not on the Senior Varsity Teams to participate in sports. We are sincerely grate¬ ful to Woman ' s College for developing this physical education program and to Mrs. H. P. Winchester for directing it in our school. vi warn
