FRIENDSHIP CLUB President . . Carrie Evelyn Light Secretary ...... Gertrude Wert Vice President .. Martha Alkire Treasurer .... Maryella Durigg Seven years ago a group of ethusiastic high school girls organized the Friendship Club, the purpose being to promote a better spirit of friendship among the girls throughout the school and to uphold the highest ideals in speech, thought, and action. This year instead of discussion topics the club decided to have hob- bies which were to be brought to the meetings. All the meetings this year were social meetings held every two weeks after school. Twenty- eight members contributed to the success of the club this year. The main activities were the minstrel, The Cotton Club , and the Mother-Daughter banquet held in May. -Gertrude Wert.
