Mrs. Davenport received her B.A. degree from East Central State College, her M. Ed. from Oklahoma University, spent 6 weeks at a Siminar on International Relations at American University, Washington D. C. Mrs. Davenport has taught in the Sulphur School System through Fourth Grade, Junior High and Senior High. She now teaches Social Studies in Senior High, sponsors National Honor Society, and The Annual. She is a member of the Sulphur Book Club, P. E.O., First Christian Church, and past president of the Busi- ness and Professional Womens Club. Because of the devoted services she has rendered, we, the staff are proud to dedicate the '58 Bulldog to Mrs. Lillian Davenport. . 5. 4

The Bulldog staff has attempted to preserve for you, the students and the faculty, events thatoccurredduring the academic year of '57- '58, Especially ha ve we tried to review those events which will long be remembered as the most happy occasions. To you who are seniors, this has been a very important year in your life and one long to be remembered. Ma y this issue be one which will preserve for you the happy memories of your senior year at Sulphur. The Bulldog staff has worked hard to produce a yearbook that will meet the desires and needs of our Sulphur supporters, subscribers, and advertisers. Our thanks go to all these for their co -opera tion, and my personal thanks to those members ofthe staff who have worked so hard helping me in my position.
