CLASS HISTORY We are proud to say that we, the SENIORS of 1955, are the largest Senior graduating class in the last eight years. We have had the greatest representation in recreational activities than any of the other graduating classes. On September of 1943 we all walked up to the Washington and Cameron Public School Buildings to begin our education. Let me see now the first year at Washington there was O. D. Owens, Wilma Cox, Barney Walken, Dorthy McSpadden, Carl Hickman, Tom Brown, Marilyn Harris, jack Webb, Anna Lois Kirby, Tama Wiggins, Bill Spindle, Marion Baumgardner, Anna Birch, and Gail Giles but we lost Gail to Oklahoma City the last half of the year. And do you know that the very first day of school Tom Brown got a whipping for throwing airplanes. Seems that one talent has lingered with the boys through the years. But oh, mv, over at Cameron there was Ann Mountford, jack Fisher, Jerry Chaf- fin, Pauline Frost, Eddie Van Lewis, Bill Lowrance, Bill Parsons, Bill Hamby, G, W, Chaffin, joe Stout, Wanda Pope, Vivian Cottle, Cecil Ballinger, Marion Corley, Bill l-Ialpain, jerry Carter, Wesley Bates, Mary Louise Cape, Lynda Peak, Betty Little, Rex Mann, Kenneth Elder, and Gordon Richards for one week, then he went to Washington. But by the second year Washington found Donnie Owens from Dougherty, Gail Giles from Oklahoma City, Wanda Pope from Cameron, and lost Glenn Pierce to Drake. Cameron found Peggy Danyeur from Palmer, Faye Hull from Durant, and Marilyn Green from Arizona, but we lost Vivian Cottle to New Mexico. That year Betty Little caused all the boys that rode her bus, to get a spanking because they all tried to kiss her. Shame on you boys!!!! The third year Washington found Howard Hill from Oklahoma City and Bobby joe Bell from Ada, but lost jack Wfebb to Asher, Oklahoma. And Cameron lost Pauline Frost to California. By the fourth year Anna Birch and Betty Little decided to leave us. So Anna Ruth went to Califor- nia and Betty Ruth went over to Washington. Washington found ,lack Webb but lost him again to New Mexico the last half of the year. Washington found Carl Godard from Wynnewood, Cameron found Mike Williams and Wanda Pope from Washington, tl. B. Denman from Stillwater, Pauline Frost from California, Claudell Hill from Texas for 12 weeks then lost her to Washington, and Bill Lowrance the 2nd 6 weeks fI'Om Washington. Uh Hu! we know something on Gaye and Bill, She was the only girl invited to his birthday party in the fourth grade. The fifth year Rex Mann and Donnie Owens decided to swap schools so Donnie was transferred to Cameron and Rex was transferred to Washington. That year jack Webb decided to come back to Washington. Cameron found Glenn Pierce and julian Williams from Drake, Betty Little, Wilma Cox and Bill Lowrance from Washington, Ethel Rackly from Palmer, Wayne Co1lin5 from Nowata, Vivian Cottle from New Mexico, Monte Fry from California, but we lost Wanda Pope and J. B. Denman to Washington, Tack Fisher to Nebraska. OH YES!! seems that a certain boy loved to look in the mirror and watch Gail Giles who sat across the room. How about that jack????.? And now in our final year of grade school Cameron acquired jack Fisher from Nebraska, Peggy Gains from Ada, Wanda Pope from Washington, Earnie Collins from Hickory and Sue Elkins from Arizona, but we lost Pauline Frost to California, Wihna Cox, Monte Fry, J, B, Denman, and Lynda Peak to Washington. And Washington acquired Wilma Cubley from Atoka, and Eugene Vannoy from Oklahoma City. Monte Fry and Marilyn Harris were always fighting over Don'Bennett. Now look who has won!
