Litz The Science Honor Society is an organization that recog- nizes excellence in the science curriculum. Students who have maintained a 3.5 grade point average in science as well as being enrolled in their third year of science are el- igible for membership. This year, the society is a member of the Tennessee Science League. The Science Honor So- ciety provides students with the opportunities to go on eductional field trips after school on various days.

Kinder. The purpose of the Anchor Club is to be thoughtful and helpful to others, to serve the school and the community, and to prepare its members for useful citizenship. Some of the activities of the club include buying a cap and gown for a needy student, buying cards and invitations and an annual for a needy stu- dent, buying food for a needy family at Thanksgiving, and helping as volunteers at the Special Olympics.
