Oar Clwol Was Evaluated la outltern Association Mr. Leonard Crawford, evaluation co-ordinator, , discusses the extent of the school community l with members of the staff. Sullivan High School was admitted to the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools in 1955. The school was evaluated by the association in 1958. ln connection with this, a visiting committee of outstanding educators reviewed and appraised a self study of the school's total program made by the local school staff. The evaluation began with a banquet on Monday evening, March 24. For the next four days conferences were held with staff members and students, and the over-all program was observed. The successful co-operation of the student body, faculty, administrators, and service staff, aided by a fine school plant resulted in Sullivan's being classified as one of the outstanding schools in the state. At approximately the same time, the State committee evaluated Sullivan High School and found it deserving of an A-l rating.
