David Lee Welch with nickname of Dave Seems he is always trying to save. David Lester Welch dressed so neat Is always trying to keep on the beat. Last is Carole Weyer a great fan She just arrived home from a year in Japan. W2 have gone through our class iust For fun We thank our teachers for what they have done. 6144.4 poem We're the class of fifty-five For us it has been quite a drive At last after twelve full years We leave our school of joy and tears. Betty Allgire is first on our list A day of school she has tried not to miss. Shirley Bryan with diploma in her hand Leaves us now wearing a wedding band. David Cunningham, he gives a big groan As a wrong note comes from his trombone. Alice Foster never in the stand She's out marching with our band. Next in line is Rose Marie Free She's a friend to both you and me. Lyle Freyman to our class is just great But how many times has he shown up late? Helen Grum with baton in her hand Strutting, marching and leading our band. Janet Hawley with her brown eyes How she wishes for a couple of guys. Juanita Hawley is quite a gal To all of us she is a great pal. Lyle Hoffman with his Buick eight Needs some money to celebrate. Mona Howe with her short black hair Ohl How she wishes she were a millionaire Pauline Hubler with her tuba Wishes that she could go to Cuba. Joyce Keener who lives in town You never see her with a frown. John Laborie so carefree and gay He'll talk to you any time of the day. Pat Lamb with answers so quick From her iokes we get a big kick. I, Bud Stark, leave my good grades in Science to the Thompson boys. I, JoAnn Sutton, leave my Texas accent to Edith Ringler. l, Margie Tahya, leave my ability to go steady for three years while in school to Anna Hastings. I, Bob Taylor, leave my ability to get all the girls to Ronnie Sprinkle and hope that he can keep them I, Ernest Weiler, leave my ability to bite the girls to Bob Humphrey. The Class of i955 61444 -ffl'.4to'cy FIRST HOUR: We began our ascent on the path of knowledge in September I943 with the following charter members: Betty Allgire, Alice Foster, Lyle Freyman, Helen Grum, Janet Hawley, Pauline Hubler, Joyce Keener, Robert Taylor, and Emma Jean Thompson. Mrs. Draper was our teacher for the year. SECOND HOUR: During our second grade we continued our campaign against the evils of ignorance still under the guidance of Mrs. Draper. Our class was increased by One with the addition of Royal Stark, Jr. THIRD HOUR: During our third grade we were under the guidance of Mrs. Soka, who introduced us into the realm of human relations by the study of geography For the first time . David Lee Welch ioined our group that year. FOURTH HOUR: The same old gang was back this year and we were joined by Juanita Hawley and Mona Howe. Mrs. Zacharias helped us along in our search For knowledge. FIFTH HOUR: During this year our class was divided into two separate classes. One class under the guidance of Mrs. Zacharias and the other half under the guidance of Miss Long. David Cunningham and Lyle Hoffman ioined our ranks. SIXTH HOUR: Being the oldest on the playground, we felt quite proud of ourselves this year. We had finally reached the medium on our voyage for knowledge. Mrs. Zacharias Baker was still our teacher. SEVENTH HOUR: A milestone in our young lives was our entrance into Junior High this year. For the first time we were to have more than one teacher to help us in our search for knowledge. We felt quite big being allowed to pass from one room to another room for our classes. Carl Pay ioined our class this year. Mrs. Rank was our advisor for this year. I6
