The Club participates in several acti- vities. The members have given programs over the public address during the Christ- mas and Easter seasons. This year the Tri- Hi-Y is especial ly proud ofthe new conces- sion stand which it has helped to build. The Tri-Hi-Y will be host for the annual district conference held this spring in Sullivan. The sponsors for this club are Miss Rei- rners and Miss Wright.

BETH CLUB IANIE OFFICERS Jane Powell ..... president Clint Duncan . . vice-president Nancy Taylor .... secretary Barbara Bedwell . . treasurer The Beta Club is aservice organization in the school. Its members should represent three fundamental qualities --scholarship, leadership, and character--so that the club may better serve and lead the school. Our Club owns a popcorn machine, and its members may be seen busily popping and selling corn at most football and basketball games. This year the club is helping to pay For the new concession stand on the foot- ball field, since each year it plans to aid the school in some way. The Sullivan High School Beta Club endeavors to live up to its purpose--to become a valuable service organization in the school. Sponsors were Miss Nowlin and Mr. Asbury. Beta Club members working in the new Concession stand. Always popping, popping, popping popcorn, Barb knows where the Beta Club money goes.

1 I ? I I L HI-U The Hi-Y is affiliated with a national organization, the YMCA. The club stresses clean speech, clean sports, clean scholarship, and clean living. The organization is very active during the entire school year. During football season the members worked in the new concession stand which they helped to finance . They have also participated in pre-Christmas and pre- Easter programs which were given over the public address system. ln the spring they played host to the district Hi- Y and Tri-Hi-Y Conference which was held in Sullivan High School. i A definite school asset, the group is sponsored by Mr. Fisher. Counting the loot after a successful sale of concessions is this group of Hi-Y members. Cecil Alumbaugh monopolizes the cash, while Jim Crooks, Jim Pixtle, ana Danny Frew are interested by-standers.
