SPlllllli SPUHTS Sullivan High's spring sports are the highlight of the last few months of school. Although in the past years the track and baseball teams have been handicapped by lack of facilities, they have made a creditable showing. Mr. Wood and Mr. Jarrett, baseball and track coaches, respectively, have worked diligently to make these sports possible. The golf team coached by Mr. Fisher, is rapidly gaining in popularity. With the improved conditions greater interest and growing popularity were in evidence this year. Pictured above are some of the participants of baseball, track, and golf .... It feels great to be out on the green again .... Harry Pierce goes into his energetic windup. . . . Terry McClure is about to take off , maybe for a hundred-yard dash, huh Terry? .... Tom Campbell wears a determined look as he gets set to clear the hurdles .... Kenny Kimmell takes time out for relaxation between events .... Fly Chaser , Phil Lawson, slides in for a homer .... Gerry Treadway seems ready to float through the air in a pole vault .... The golf team and instructor, Mr. Fisher, pause for a look at the birdie with pro, Homer Matthews .... Jerry Grubaugh, seems to be wandering from the fareway to retrieve a ball. Careful, there Jerry .....
