Thus us our swan song the end f us lt us tume to say goodbye and wush the comung classes loads of luck There us nothung left for us to do except to don our caps and gowns and hang our pucture un the hall lt s been fun studyung here ln tact school has grown to b a habut wuth us lt s hard to break a habut even a bad one Now a swan mught be allowed a luttle crowung un hus funal song so we are goung to take advantage of that pruvulege to revuew our achuevements outstand :ng and otherwuse 'mostly otherwusel Elsewhere un thus annual you have heard of all the athletuc records and unterestung hustory of the school year but there are luttle uncudents that we laugh over and forget and those uncudents are the real school lute the Thungs that make us senuors wush we could come back for more the thungs that wull make us chuckle un years to come For unstance there us the excut ungly hard grund of chemustry class wuth all uts odors and ruuned hose and belueve ut or not we senuors can stull remember those geometry tests we DIDNT SWAN SONG claosen few whule the rest sat by and wondered what they were talkung about Some of us lnked geometry so much we went back for the second tumel And do you remember when Shorty Webb took the football the length of the fueld whule the bleachers roared wuth laughter? That dash won our much nuck named hero the tutle of the Gallopung Ghost Spectators can testufy he won ut honestly There was the tume too when a senuor boy was remunded that ut was un necessary to walk down the hall wuth hus arm around a gurl lt certaunly us hard to break a habut One of the buggest thrulls of a lufetume came when the Golden Arrows were presented wuth theur hard earned football trophues But the hlgh pount was reached when Captaun Edds un behalf of the team surprused Spuke wuth an S sweater for humself a futtung trubute for such a team and such a man Then before we knew ut football was over the trophues lovungly dusplayed and the banquets came to a close Basketball was agaun kung About thus tume too the Boosters gave a luttle play The Adorable Spend thruft The sketch furst made news when the halls . .
