Thinclclds Improv Mr. Dan Becker's track team got off to a very good start. ln their first meet Suitland met the teams in Prince Georges County and was tied with l airmont Heights for first place with 78 points. Then they won a triangular meet between SHS, Northwestern and High Point with 67213 points. Suitland has some outstanding members on the team. Mike Kirkpatrick broke the SHS shot put rec- ord with a toss of 50 feet 2 inches, Tom Beaudreault, lim Sheldon. Bob Droter, Charlie James, Steve Mer- rill are also outstanding.
