Backing the cheerleaders with plenty of pep and personality the Suitland Pep Club does much to bolster the SHS. athletic teams. The club also promotes good sportsmanship and good school spirit. This year the Pep Club included porn porn girls. the Pep- eltes. The Pep Club attends all pep rallies and games and serves the school as guides at Career Night and College Night. Marching in the Apple Blossom Parade in the Veterans Day Winchester. Parade in La Plata. and the Cherry Blossom Parade in Wash- ington, D.C. were also some of the Pep Club's many activities.

Debate Club Wrangles The primary purpose of the De- bate Club is to teach the members to express their views and stand up for them in the face of opposition. Besides friendly practice wrangl- ing at their meetings the club en- gages in league and tournament de- bates. Thespians Dramatize The Drama Club. sponsored by Mr. Crockett, has entertained Suitlandites throughout the year with fine performances as in Hlsadies in Retirementv and the trial scene from Anne of A Thousand Daysi' which won four of five awards in the preliminaries of the Maryland One Act Play Contest. They then went on to win all of a possible three awards in the Maryland statewide Drama Festival held at Md. lniversity.
