Although many valuable players graduated last year, the team still had .1 fine line-up and bench strength. The Ram pitching staff was led by -Iimmy Lucas and W'inky Strinc, while other leaders of the team were Bob jenkins, Bill Spalding, and Bill Fort. Talenf Displayed In Ram Shckmen Away Home Away Home Away Home Home Away all The history of lacrosse goes back centuries and was a favorite sport of the Indians. In a like manner, the history of the game at Suitland goes back to 195 S, when it was first introduced by the principal, Mr. T. V. Warthen. Suitland is the only area school participating in this sport. Winning the tri-county championship last year added to the high hopes of this year's squad. Even though the seniors who spearheaded last year's lineup were sorely missed, Coach Robert Bickford felt that this year's team again gave an outstanding performance. The 1959 squad was paced by seniors, George White, Frank Principe, Bert Bigbee, and Andy Johanson.
