Fufure Leaders, Nurses Learn Skills Sponsored by Mrs. Delahunt, the Future Business Leaders of America is exceedingly active in various affairs. The main pur- poses of the club are many, with the chief goal being to provide the members with educational, Future Business Leaders of America pose for their ARIES picture vocational, and leadership ex- perience. In doing this, the F.B.L.A. manages to aid others also. They have organized a clerical committee which assists the fa- culty, put on the Spring Fair, and Business play. They worked with other clubs on the Toys for Tots Campaign, and Christmas baskets to the needy. The club won first prize in the Homecom- ing Parade contest and partici- pated in the other school activi- ties. The ofhcers were Barbara Lucas, presidentg Phyllis Fouche, vice president, Barbara Stancliff, secretary: Marguerite Hollister, treasurerg and reporter Sandy Wise. Girls ofthe FNA make plans for their careers As an introduction to practical and specialized nurs- ing, and learning the fundamentals of the nursing profession are the ideals set by the Future Nurses of America Club. Sponsored by Mrs. Cogan and presided over by Gloria Baker, the future nurses are busy in many activities. Along with movies, speakers, field trips, and demon- strations, the FNA also did many services as a prelude to actual nursing. This group assisted in the school I4 infirmary and took gifts to the Community Poor House at Christmas and Easter. They, together with the P.T.S.A., also contributed S100 towards a scholarship for a worthy member of the club. The officers ot the club were Gloria Baker, presidentg jon Dickeson, vice president, Georgette Schmidt, secre- tary, Alice XVistock, treasurerg and Barbara Robey, Sergeflflt'af-Ilffns.

Boys of the Hi-Y make plans for the Heart Hop. ..!,', jf Hi-Y, Tri-Hi-Y Give Many School Services M ' ,4- it mag ' 9. b Members of the Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y get together and decorate for the Heart Hop. To create, maintain, and extend throughout home, school, and community, high standards of Christian character, this is the aim of the Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y. Giving baskets of food to the poor at Thanksgiving and Christmas, singing Christmas carols, sponsoring the Heart Hop, putting on an Easter assembly, and partici- pating in athletic events, are among the organizations' many activities. Sponsored by Mrs. Koustenis, the Tri-Hi-Y is presided over by Ruth Ann Scott as presidentg Pat Umholtz, secretaryg Ann Johnson, trcasurerg Grace McDermott, sergeant at armsg and Sandra Norris, Chaplin. Bill Dickens presides over the Hi-Y along with Roger Estep, vice presidentg Frank Principle, secretaryg Bob DeChambeau, trcasurerg and Andy Johanson, sergeant at arms. Mr. McKnown is sponsor. Before making plans for the Easter Assembly, the Tri-Hi Y posts for their picture.
