Headed by editor-in-chief Ann Ellin, the ARIES staff worked diligently to produce a yearbook worthy of the high ratings given each year by the National School Yearbook Association. With the theme of Looking Back, the senior dominated class worked long hours, both during and after school. Members of the ECI-IO and ARIES staffs worked together selling subscriptions, putting on the first ECHO-ARIES hop, and soliciting patrons and spon- sors for the yearbook. Informing students and parents of school activities is the main purpose of the school paper, the ECHO. In addition to putting the paper out twelve times a year, the ECHO workers, together with the ARIES staff sold subscriptions and advertising space, and put on the first ECHO-ARIES Hop. The executive staff, headed by Sid Knock, editor- in-chiefg Carol Sturtevant and Carol Haina, assistant editorsg Doris Muller, business manager: Barbara Brown, managing editor, and aided by their co-- workers worked many hours to meet each deadline.
