Scarlef And Whife March Through Year sf Maiorettes posing for an ARIES, picture are: Kathleen McCartney, Captain, Mary Ann Lowden, Linda Sistek, Gail Roy, Marian Peter, Lucinka Lindsay, Margie Schissell, Sandra Browning, Florence Bradley, Pat Darden, and Peggy Brotherton, Captain. Suitland's majorettes, captained by Kathleen McCart- ney and Peggy Brotherton, have done much to enhance the various activities at Suitland. Wliile promoting school spirit and group cooperation, they were also active in numerous other events. March- ing at football, soccer, and basketball games were a few of their services. These girls attended area parades, school activities, and Lions Club contest, and S.H.S. ......,e ..4...a..,......... N , , l band concerts. The maiorettes also exchanged visits with a New Jersey high school band. Composing the majorettes were: Della Carter, Carolyn Gorman, Mary Ann Lowtlen, Kathleen McCartney, Pat Thompson, and Linda Scriveng juniors, Florence Bradley, Pat Darden, Marian Peter, Margie Schissell, and Nancy West, and sophomore Sandra Browning.
