The bright, shiny new faces of Tom Adams, Bob Campbell, and Ronnie Boore and the continuing bril- liance of such veterans as Charlie Gibbs. Eddie Donn, lid Buenzli. and Russ Beard. were among the primary reasons the 1956 edition of the Scarlet and White thin- clacls posted its greatest season in history. The year was marked by a revampment of the record books, as nearly every old mark was erased by the terminus of the season. Suitland entered the Bi-County. County, and State meets plus three other community affairs against the likes of High Point, B-CC, Richard Montgomery, St. johns, and Oxon Hill.
