Choral.Groups Help Develop Sfudenf Talenf The A Cappella Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Pelling. is the most advanced choral group at Suitland. Highlighting their public appearances this year was the annual Spring Concert. Other performances in- cluded the Christmas Concert. caroling at the Alms liouse. the Variety Show, the Easter Assembly. Mary- land Choral Day. the Regional Choral Festival. and the County Choral Clinic. The choruses are composed mostly of students who are taking choral work for the first time. Mrs. Pelling directs a girls, chorus and a mixed chorus. Under the direction of Miss Fasig is the ninth grade mixed chorus, the senior high mixed chorus and the ninth grade and senior high girls? choruses.
