m The Future Homemakers of America is the national organization of pupils studying homemaking in junior and senior high schools of the United States and Territories. CREED We are the Future Homemakers of America. We face the future with warm courage and high hope. We are the Future Homemakers of America We face the future with warm courage and high hopes. The Sugar Grove Chapter emphasized the project You and Your Values. Chap¬ ter mothers were entertained at a Mother- Daughter Banquet. The FHA also sponsored an assembly program which included a fashion show. Money making projects in¬ cluded serving two banquets and two Ruritan suppers. L. Each member receives instruction in agriculture, farm shop and parliamentary procedure. Members also carry out a super¬ vised farming program. One of our many activities is a yearly Parent-Son Banquet. Making gates, truck racks, and many other shop constructions are a few of our many projects. The Glee Club is composed of students who meet once a week for group singing. Some of the things the members learn are how to sing in a group, how to pronounce words while singing, and how to follow the director ' s motions. This year the Glee Club studied the different types of folk songs. The group prepared a program of Christmas music to sing for the patients at Southwestern State Hospital.
