The President ' s Message As you. Graduates of the Class of 1966, take leave of Suffolk University, I com- mend and congratulate you upon having taken advantage of the fine educational opportunities offered by this University. It is my sincere wish that you will profit by the ideals and standards of excellence instilled in you by the Faculty. One of the real challenges to the college graduate today is to keep alive, after graduation, the intellectual enthusiasm, stimulation, and zest of college days. In this era of rapid advancement in specialized knowledge, you should understand that your education is largely a continuing personal matter, involving a total com- mitment to self-perfection and the fullest realization of your own individual po- tential during the remainder of your life. As you receive your degree, deservedly earned by years of difficult study and self- sacrifice, and take your place in the society of educated men and women, I urge you to live exemplary lives and, as alumni, to continue to remain loyal and stead- fast to the lofty purposes and objectives of Suffolk University so that your Uni- versity may continue to remain proud of you. Personally, and as President of Suffolk University, I heartily congratulate you on your achievements, and sincerely hope that you will enjoy many years of good health, good fortune, great happiness and continued successful accomplishment. 27
