Money¬ making projects are for any club and the SCA was no exception. During the week of October 2, the SCA sold Red Raider Calendars and later they held a doughnut sale. A basketball game between the SCA and WGH disc jockeys in February brought in both money and entertain¬ ment. Two dances were sponsored by the SCA — the annual Peanut Bowl dance in November and the Sadie Hawkins in March. But the SCA partici¬ pated in service projects as well as dances and other activities in school. In December they held a Lung Association collection and later in December held a Christmas party for the special education students at Jefferson. Two more activities of the SCA were weekly school reports over WLPM and a monthly clean-up campaign in the school. 10
