They are simple scenes with those dear to us—images which portray the splendor of friendship, the joy of learning and laughing together, the beauty of young and old living in harmony and respect. By, far, im¬ pressions are nrK)st frequently happy be¬ cause of the innate love we all possess. They are peaceful afternoons in which two pupils gazing in¬ to a microscope grasp a fundamental truth about them¬ selves as well as their subject. 7 Impressions are the events which possess some special quality which converts the ordinary to the extraordinary and causes certain events to linger in the mind. It is these impressions engraved upon our souls which we will carry with us when we leave Suffolk High School. They will guide us in our fu¬ tures, comforting us when we need the poignant remembrance of them. With this annual, we have tried to capture some of these impressions in the hoF e that parts of each of us can remain in unity, though we each go our separate ways. 15 flcnDCfflic; William S.
