mnim THE GOLDEN PEANUT VOLUME How can we remember the memories and moods of the years ... the silent moments of consolation ... a blurr of rigid excitement . .. leadership that also teaches us the game of life .. . together pow er... a common goal - victory ... participation and a willingness to give . .. New meaningful friendships ... the fun of just being with people . .. enthusiasm - typical of S.H.S.... complete involvement and interest ... together Suffolk High is built and together we will remember .. . A 4 -grj ► 1 , — . QUIET. SZk the silent periods of Suffolk High ... times of meditation and collection of our thoughts ... contemplating new ideas . .. realizing the existence of knowledge ... NO. 1 SCHOOL SPIRIT The senior year - one of great anticipa¬ tion ... to build up by the experiences of each individual class... sleeping on the Washington trip . .. being entrusted with a leadership re¬ sponsibility ... halls well known ... studying hard to get in the over-abundance of work Advanced Composition seems to have ... just taking time to breathe freely and act as if we aren’t seniors ... but when graduation comes, somehow it all seems so worthwhile and one knows it definitely is ... School work ... always overshadowing everything else ... forgetting the big test... homework not quite finished ... sleeping in class (from hard studying?).. . the awareness of your creativity ... always getting the wrong results in the lab ... the forgotten book... but somehow the work is finished and the end brings accomplishments. 12 1968-69 STATE CHAMPION SUFFOLK RED RAIDER?
