S«uxU Suffolk ' s fleet-footed half¬ back, is honorary captain of the All Tidewater Group II Team, being the first player since the selection started in 1947 to collect 20 out of a possible 20 points. His brilliant record included ten touchdowns and a total of 843 yards rushed. The eighteen year old senior did a bang-up defensive job for the Red Raiders while playing his fourth varsity season. The coaches credit Jack with being the best SHS center since 1947. His foot¬ ball savvy was the num¬ ber one factor in prevent¬ ing a losing season.
