Mrs. Griffin is a charter member of the Board of Trustees at Sue Bennett College and has worked tirelessly in helping the college to develop long-range plans for the over-all campus development program. She has served on the Building and Grounds Committee and has attended every session of the Board since it was organized. Through the generosity of Mrs. Griffin and her family, several students have received scholarships at this institu- tion and other nearby institutions. Without the aid from the Griffin family, it would have been almost impossible for these students to receive their college education. All those who have had the privilege of working with her have found her to be a devoted mother, an unselfish neighbor, 'an active civic-minded club member, and a true Christian. Her church work will long be remembered. Mrs. Griffin is a person Who has always shown concern for other people. Sue Bennett College is greatly indebted to Mrs. Griffin for. the support she has given during the many years she has lived in London. Class attending the banquet which had the largest representations were those of 1934 and 1945. 83
