The class is Journalism!Yearbook. Now, for the first time, students can work on the Pax and Periscope in an organized classroom instead of outside of class. This also provides for more adult supervision. The Pax staff worked hard to meet all deadlines. Special emphasis was placed on inc uding as many Subiaco clubs and organizations as possible. The editors for the 1984 Pax were Fred Rockenhaus and Bill Long. Fred acted as Managing Editor, assigning and supervisin daily classwork, and Bill, tlge Editor-in-Chief, approved finished layouts and copy. Special thanks goes to Jane Witherell of Jane's Photography, Dardanelle, Arkansas. A Managing Editor Fred Rockenhaus ' Editor-Bill Long Photographers-Brent Hopkins, David Bertuccini se. Periscope staff left to right: Greg Hennessy, james Blair, Greg Lisko, Larry Anderson, Joe Conlon, Donald Virek, Scott Taylor Pax!Periscope staff of 1983-84 The Periscope staff members within the class worked to improve not only the general appearance of the newspaper, but also the quality of written work. Reporters were sought outside of the class to involve more students in their paper and to encourage prospective members for the class. With regular deadlines, and an established routine for determining which stories would be printed, the Periscope attempted to chronicle life at Subiaco for the student body and alumni.
