Mr. DePalma, the program- ming chairman, and his com- mittee are responsible for put- ting the teachers, students, and subjects all together to form a smoothly running program. Mr. DePalma is usually bom- barded with complaints and numerous requests for pro- gram changes. Thanks to the dedication of Mr. DePalma, most of the students get the right classes and are satisfied with their programs. Mr. Myron Wechsler, the school's College Advisor, is in charge of the College Office which distributes information concerning CEEB, ACT, and other tests. He helps seniors make arrangements for finan- cial aid and scholarships and supervises college application processing. Grade Advisors Cutbacks this year have forced markedly reduced guidance services. There are only three Grade Advi- sors in the school: Dr. Strudler, Mrs. Ferrara, and Mr. Rittermann. They each work in the Guidance Office two periods a day. Aiding them are four part-time Grade Advisors: Mr. Becker, Mr. Glotzer, Mr. Rubinstein and Mr. Weinberg. The Grade Advisors, under the supervision of Mr. Ferra- ra and Mr. Wechsler, are involved, almost exclu- sively, in college related guidance.
