Believe me that your expression of affection finds me a ready echo in my own formula-hlled but sentimental heart. We have worked together, talked physics together, experi- mented together, and argued together. And out of this association there has come to me a deep conviction that simply nowhere but in Stuyvesant can one ftnd such alert, intelligent, idealistic people. You have taught me as much as I have taught you. Your reactions to my demonstrations have kindled a desire to go on demonstrating. Your argu- ments have lent color and charm to what otherwise would have been it dull and dry teaching process. You hare been ,liflllff-1' tqmflilf You graduate at Ll time of world tension and strife. Wfhatever you do after graduation, remember that your fresh, unspoiled, high-minded approach is what this jaun- diced world of ours needs so badly.
