Many of the class had already come and that evening at dinner we met Emery Travis, Kathleen Wynns, and Lillie Brown, proprietors of the famous Bachelor Girl Apartments in San Francisco, California. -After dinner we motored out to Mildred Benedict's country home which she had 'made famous for the delightful entertainfments given there. A house party was then in progress and almong her guests were, Orvalette Harth, world famous violinist, Helen Winston,. a Ziegfeld Fol- lies Beauty, Mary D. Herron, Choir Leader in the Little -Church Around the Corner and Irene Brummett, a society leader in Chicago. We spent the night with Mildred and the next afternoon we went out to the High School building where the reunion was to be held. There was quite a small group of people waiting on the beautiful grounds. After exchanged greetings we began to question each other to learn of all the experiences of each one. Glenn Morris was there and answered the roll call with a verse of scripture. Yes, you have already guessed it, he had become a minister. He told us that his once inseperable chum, Hoyt McKeehan, was now a doctor. Hoy-t intended to be present but one of his patients, ,Ned Culley, was near the point of death from a broken heart and required his expertrservices to 'mend that lacerated member. Poor Ned, his heartreceived permanent injury in High School when he read Heart Throbsf' Warren Ellis, famous criminal lawyer, gave the formal welcoming address. A.t its conclusion Vivienne Holeman, the girl with the g-olden voice , favored us with several selections. Just after this meeting was adjourned so that we imight all renew our friendships, we all noticed that Bernit-a Berry and Lillian Rakes were carrying on ,a very animated conversation and soon learned the reason. 'These were the only mem- bers of our class that had fallen for the joys of matrimonial bliss and, naturally, they had entered into a discussion of husbands. Some of the other members of the class were slightly jealous of their apparent hap- piness. ' A ' Tihe reunion was a pronounced success and plans ,were laid for an even more successful one to be held the following year at the same time. We returned to our respective homes with lighter hearts for having had the pleasure of turning back to memories of our school days for a brief time.
